Silly fun.
An anemic Main Character throughline (made even less palpable with an irritatingly insincere performance) channels this violent homage to the comic book genre directly into the Tale category. HitGirl would have been the obvious choice for the Impact Character, but sadly her function in the film is relegated to a simple Help character. Still, she’s the best part of it all. Her charming relationship with Big Daddy is the closest we get to any real heart.
Worth checking out if you’re in to comic books, but as with all Tales it’s a drawn-out meaningless experience.
